Grid connected asymmetric cascaded H-bridge with LDN topology

This paper presents an asymmetric cascaded H-bridge with Level Doubling Network topology with PV panels replacing the conventional DC sources. The voltage level has increased with floating capacitor and to maintain this no extra closed loop control has required for balancing its voltage. The Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation switching technique has adopted to achieve required output voltage level of the inverter. The desired output has obtained by utilizing a single DC source. The mentioned input DC source kept constant/ or regulated despite solar irradiation variations. The inverter output power has injected to the AC bus. A vector control scheme has adopted to synchronize the inverter output with grid for smother power exchange between Level Doubling Network Inverter and the grid.
