Modeling and Analysis of Signal Characteristics for QPSK Affected by Interference

The stable shore-to-ship communication is an important basis for ensuring the safety and stability of the ocean-going vessels. However, the electromagnetic environment is complex and variable. At the same time, the various unknown-interferences will weaken the quality of shore-to-ship communications and even lead to communication disruption. In this paper, based on the bit-error-rate (BER) equation, the BER model of quaternary-phase-shift-key (QPSK) signal affected by interference is established. The characteristics of the interfered QPSK signal are analyzed by simulations. The conclusions provide a theoretical basis to the anti-interference and communication-ensured for the ocean vessels.
