A new PV cell diagnosis method under different climatic conditions

Photovoltaic systems are widely used by manufacturing in recent years. Many research works prove that PV cell is affected by climatic conditions perturbations. In this way, many diagnosis methods based on error detection of PV power have been developed. However, the PV cell parameters are sensitive to climatic perturbations. In this way, a new method is introduced in this paper allowing examining the PV cell behavior under different climatic conditions. This method is based on the new application of electrochemical spectroscopy technique by adding a small component to the average duty cycle of the switch component of the DC-DC. The online Nyquist diagram of measured and treated PV current rends the operation zone of the PV cell. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed diagnosis method.
