An experiment with IoT for health monitoring with NodeMCU12e controller and Pic GNG

This article presents the results of an experiment on the Internet of Things (IoT) for the health area, using sensors and electronic microcontrollers available in the national market, considering devices that allow the monitoring of patient signals using the NodeMCu12e microcontroller and the pulse sensor Pic GNG. a bibliographic research was initially carried out on academic materials, manuals and technical documentation, then prototypes were developed on the available devices, then the experiment was developed to obtain the data. With the obtained data, it was possible to validate the use of the devices, evaluating their strengths and weaknesses, with the obtained data an analysis was possible on the types of resources that the Internet of Things devices offers, providing great possibilities for creating different types of solutions to contribute to global health. With the rapid advancement in the creation of devices for the Internet of Things, an improved study is required on the different types of devices available in the market, as there are many possible adaptation resources to be used in the health area.
