Methodology of Functional Architecture Assembly of Complex Systems on Airliner Example

A methodology for constructing a functional architecture of a passenger aircraft, including its systems, is presented. This methodology is based on the ARP 4754A Standard and is fully consistent with FAA approaches. The functional architecture of the aircraft is built "from top to bottom", so after formulating the function of the highest, zero level, there is a consistent transition to the consideration of the functions of the lower levels, into which this need is decomposed. This structure is brought to the functional level of the aircraft systems according to the ATA 100 List, and for several of these aircraft systems have also been built appropriate functional architectures.
