Interference Analysis between 5G Mobile Networks and Fixed Services in the 26 GHz Band

This work presents an interference analysis between 5G networks and point-to-point fixed service in the 26 GHz band. This includes a discussion of the current status of the Brazilian spectrum occupation and the current services that are already deployed in the proposed band. We evaluated the 5G network co-channel interference over the fixed service, considering different number of cells, geographical location, propagation effects and antenna heights. The results show the minimum separation distance in order to deploy a 5G network without changing the fixed service.
