Abstract:
This paper discusses the program logic for an attempt at using coding to aid in the decipherment of Linear A, the writing system of the Ancient Minoan Civilization. Using Python, a system can be created to compare Linear A strings to lexical lists and dictionaries of languages from a compatible time period.
