Damping of Harmonics by upstream Propagation through the Power Grid

It is well known that the most polluted networks with harmonics are those of low voltage. As the voltage level increases toward the high voltage power supply, the current and consequently voltage harmonics level naturally decrease. The goal of the paper is the study of the parameters' influence (of power lines and transformers) and also of the type of connection of power transformers on the harmonics propagation in upstream from a low voltage level to higher level when no special mitigation measures are taken. A sensitivity study was also performed regarding the accuracy of transformers' modeling with respect to the obtained results.
