Fault Diagnosis Techniques for Electrical Powertrain System- A Review

In this paper, we present the state of the art of fault diagnosis techniques used to detect and to locate the fault in an electrical vehicle powertrain. We focus both on electrical and mechanical defects, which can be also simple or multiple. Thus, after a review of different defaults, we summarized the qualitative and quantitative approaches proposed in the literature. At the end, we made a comparison between these two approaches.
