Impact of SUs under FC in Co-operative Cognitive Radio Network in PUEA Environment

In this paper we determine the performance of a co-operative Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) under Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN). The impact of the number of received samples on probability of detection (P
_D
) and false alarm (P
_FA
) are shown graphically to determine the optimum number of samples for perfect detection. Next we show the impact of number of SUs under FC on the performance of cooperative CRN and determine the optimum value of threshold signal to noise ratio (SNR) at FC to combat the effect of PUEA. Analytical results are verified by simulation and found confidence level above 99%.
