The W-Band Radio-over-Fiber System with the Full-Optical Control of Radio Signal Parameters

An experimental approbation of the Radio-overFiber system with full-optical control of radio signal parameters is considered. The task of generating a subterahertz radio signal (77 GHz) with the tuning possibility of carrier frequency and channel bandwidth (data signal) by optical means, as well as the principle of summing up a hidden optical signal for controlling a radio transmitter (a service signal) is investigated. Two modes of optical fiber were used for independent signaling. A good transmission quality of subscriber signal was obtained.
