Temperature sensitive Properties of Eu2+/ Mn2+ Co-doped Ca2Sr (PO4)2

phosphors were synthesized by high temperature solid-state method. It was studied by X-ray diffraction, room temperature and high temperature photoluminescence spectra. The results show that an effective energy transfer is existed in this phosphors from Eu
²⁺
to Mn
²⁺
. Eu
²⁺
/ Mn
²⁺
co-doped Ca
2
Sr (PO
4
) 2 phosphors have excellent optical temperature sensing properties. Two well-separated emission peaks which can be used as signal identification are exieted in emission spectrum. Absolute sensitivity and relative sensitivity are in direct proportion to temperature. Both absolute sensitivity and relative sensitivity can be improved at the same time. Therefore, Ca

Sr (PO
4
)
2
: Eu

, Mn
^{2 +}
has potential application prospect.
