Using the Power Transfer Efficiency for RFID detection in Unusual Scenarios

The increasing number of RFID applications has given rise to practical issues that deserve specific attention and analysis. In particular, the detection of UHF RFID tags in scenarios where usual propagating models such as ray tracing or free-space propagation are not applicable have been described and analyzed, highlighting that novel performance parameters such as Power Transfer Efficiency must be introduced.
