Comparison between RPLRE and RPL based on OF-EHE

Recently, the use of sensor nodes has become very significant, we can say that it's one of the most popular topics. The use of routing protocols help in energy efficient and minimize the data transmission time witch is required in a wireless communication. LEPS (Link Estimation and Parent Selection), RPLRE (Routing Protocol based on LQI and Residual Energy) and RPL (IPv6 Routing Protocol for LLNs) are widely used protocols in many platforms to choose the most suitable route for the data transmission. This paper, will be a comparison between these three protocols in order to find the best OF (Objective Function) based protocol that most ameliorate the quality of the roads in a network of connected objects. The results show that OF-EHE is a better solution than the other protocols in terms of power consumption, network lifetime, system stability and reliability during data transmission.
