Gesture Controlled Voice Pickup : SPY EAR

Surveillance is termed as an investigation of illegal behavior and observing people, vehicles, and places by law enforcing agencies and private detectives covertly to keep the law and order under control. Nowadays surveillance system is a must to ensure optimum security. According to the present situation video surveillance system provides the maximum-security service. Even though it is the leading security service provider, it has some limitations. The incident can be viewed but the audio of the environment cannot be captured. To overcome this abridgment and to harmonize both audio and video surveillance system for ensuring maximum security we present an effective spy ear which can pick up audio signals, amplify them to a great extent and use it efficiently. There have been recent approaches to this problem but the solution has not been very effective with respect to the range of the device. We have come up with a definite solution to extend this range to tackle the issue effectively. The picked-up signals contain a lot of other noise apart from the desired information. Hence the procured audio signals are de-noised using spectral subtraction method for noise removal. The biggest challenge is to collect data with ample security, otherwise, there is a possibility of data falling into the wrong hands. The ability of the device to rotate based on the customized gestures allows the device to pick the signals in all directions.
