Exciting Force Frequency Control of Unbalanced Vibratory Actuators

This paper presents one practical application of unbalanced vibratory actuators (UVA) in the regulated vibratory sieves drives. Vibratory sieves were applied in the system for separate the boiler ash from the bottom ash in Serbian thermal power plant (TPP) “TENT-B” in Obrenovac. For the synchronous operation of vibratory actuators the frequency control of their exciting force is requested, as well as the work of vibratory sieves in so called “super-resonant” mode. In this investigation the experiment determining the amplitude-frequency (AF) characteristics of the vibrating sieves and also the most importance experimental results, obtained in the real exploitation conditions on TPP, are presented.
