An Improved Reactive Power Control Strategy for the Parallel Inverter System Based on VSG

Distributed power supply's interface are often power electronic devices. Although it has the advantage of fast response, the system is not stable enough to resist load and frequency disturbance. Virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control algorithm can improve the stability of the inverter system. In the parallel inverter system, one of the critical requirements is the accuracy of power distribution. This paper proposes an improved power control strategy based on VSG for the parallel inverter system. By adding virtual negative impedance and improved reactive power control method, the accuracy of power distribution is improved, the current circulation is suppressed, and the stability of the inverter system is improved. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
