Simulation Research of Magnetic Modulation Sensor Based on Permalloy

Aiming at the shortcomings of magnetic modulation DC sensor in magnetic core material and circuit structure, a novel magnetic modulation DC leakage current sensor is proposed. The sensor uses a permalloy material as the core and improves the circuit structure based on the classical RL square wave oscillator. The magnitude and direction of the DC leakage current are indirectly obtained by detecting the phase change amount of the voltage output signal. A differential amplifier is introduced to the sensor system, and two opposite winding coils are wound around the core to suppress zero drift by differential. The simulation software PSpice is used to build the model of the magnetic modulation sensor, and the magnetic modulation circuit is simulated and verified. The results show that the new sensor can improve the sensitivity of the system and has good reliability and practicability.
