Low Carrier-wave Frequency Ratio Drive Control for SPMSM

In the vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor, owing to the synchronous frame cross-coupling and digital control delay of digital control system, the control performance of current loop is degraded when operated in high speed, even make the system unstable. Thus, four kinds of current regulators are introduced and compared in this paper, the results show that the complex vector current regulator and the direct design of current regulator have better performance at low carrier-wave ratio. Furthermore, considering the digital delay compensation, the simulation model of four different current regulators are built in the discrete domain respectively, the simulation results verify the correctness and validity of the theoretical analysis.
