Bidirectional Communication in the Inductive WPT System with Injected Information Transmission

In this paper, a novel wireless power transfer (WPT) system is proposed. It realizes the WPT on the shared channel with the capability of full-duplex signal transmission. The main structure of the system contains two dual full bridges topology to achieve bidirectional and controllable power transmission. Signal transmission is coupled into the circuit using four tightly coupling transformers (two transmitters and two receivers). Based on this structure, the influence of signal channel on the power transmission is analyzed. The forward and reverse information transfer gains are analyzed separately to obtain their Bode diagrams, which proves that the different frequencies could be transferred through the common shared channel simultaneously. Simulation results validate the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
