Synthesis of a Two-focal Impedance Reflector of Arbitrary Shape

The problem of synthesizing a two-dimensional isotropic reactance reflector of arbitrary shape, irradiated by a system of any given number of linear radiators, creating a maximum of the reflected field in any given direction, was solved for the first time in the approximation of physical optics. Expressions for the reflection coefficient of such impedance plane are obtained. Surface reactance obtained in explicit form. The results of numerical studies are given.
