Housekeeping Data Analysis of UiTMSAT-1 Nano-satellite by Observation from UiTM Ground Station

This paper presents the analysis of the telemetry data received from UiTMSAT-1 at UiTM ground station. The UiTMSAT-1 is the first Malaysia nano-satellite that launched into space with other nano-satellite in BIRDS-2 project. This observation and the analysis of data were done from the moment UiTMSAT-1 transmitted the first signal after deployment, 10 August 2018 until January 2019. The observation of the UiTMSAT-1 is being made by predicting, tracking and decoding the housekeeping (HK) data obtained from all the sensors located at the satellite plane. The analysis from this observation verified the good functionality and operational of UiTMSAT-1 and the results from the analysis were compared with the thermal vacuum test (TVT). This observation has successfully determined UiTMSAT-1 is function properly without any anomaly happened during the 5 months and put UiTMSAT-1 as a potential reference for the nano-satellite developer in choosing the design and material for nano-satellite.
