Multiple-Input-Single-Output Converter for Hybrid Renewable Sources

This paper describes a multi-input-single-output (MISO) system for hybrid PV-wind applications. A DC to DC converter configuration based on the integration of SEPIC and CUK converter has been presented which increases the overall power output obtained by the renewable energy sources. The implied paradigm can be operated individually or together depending upon the presence of available sources, making the system more reliable. The design and analysis of the converter topology has been discussed and the performance is validated using simulation results.
