Non-linear H-infinity Control for Grid-interactive Offshore Wind Farm and Marine Current Farm

This paper presents the H-infinity loop-shaping robust control strategy for offshore wind farm (OWF) and marine current farm (MCF) under high stochasticity and disturbances. Offshore wind and marine current resource, being a fluctuating resource required robust control management that able to address the stability issues. The proposed H-infinity loop-shaping control objective is to optimize the control signal and enhanced the system stability. The performance of the proposed controller is evaluated under high stochastic wind and marine current speed. The simulation results and analysis conforms a significant improvement in the stability of the studied system with proposed controller under high stochasticity.
