Design of PID Type Local Controller Network with Fuzzy Supervision

This paper proposes a feasible fuzzy strategy, network of local PID controllers type, applicable to the improvement of the dynamic stability and robustness of a well-known electromechanical system. Experimental tests confirm the superiority of the proposed method over classical control methods to treat nonlinearities and parametric variations of the plant.
