A Dual-Band Origami FSS

A dual-band origami FSS design and its performance analysis for the case of normal incident wave is presented in this work. As an origami structure, a Miura-Ori geometry is chosen for the implementation of a rhombic loop FSS. This FSS shows a dual frequency band stop characteristic at its flat state. Exploiting the ability of the origami pattern to fold/unfold, the two frequency bands are appropriately adjusted for both TE and TM polarizations.
