Analysis of Aerodynamic Characteristics of Iced Six-bundle Conductors Under Different Working Conditions

For the analysis of the wire galloping problem, the main load in the dynamic equation is derived from the continuous wind load in the natural world, and the wind load received by the wire can be characterized by the normalized aerodynamic coefficient. Therefore, determining the aerodynamic characteristics of each sub-conductor in the bundle conductor is a necessary condition for studying the bundle-conductor galloping. The aerodynamic characteristics of ice coating wires will show different changes with the thickness of ice coating, wind angle of attack and wind speed. At the same time, under the same working condition, the sub-conductors of the bundle conductors have different aerodynamic parameters due to the wake. Based on different working conditions, this paper analyzes and calculates the influence law of aerodynamic coefficients of six bundle conductors with different ice thickness, different wind angles of attack and different wind speeds, and provides basic load parameter support for wire galloping analysis.
