HIL simulation for the closure process of contactors based on neural network

The theoretical analysis for the closure process of contactors is carried out, and the finite element method is used to verify the one-to-one correspondence among the parameters of the electromagnetic system. By the theory of neural network, a function of the coil current is constructed. The attraction and counterforce formulas of electromagnetism system are combined to realize the contactor virtualization. The virtual contactor with an actual controller and a driving circuit form the intelligent contactor hardware-in-loop (HIL) simulation system. The simulation results are verified via the current closed-loop control strategy. The HIL simulation system provides an efficient and safe environment for the development and verification of the contactor intelligent control strategy.
