Performing Robot's Head Motion Simulation by Human Head Movement Activity using 3D-AAM

This project describes an interaction between humans and humanoid robot platforms by balancing according to their center of gravity, as shown in the mannequin model. The center of gravity in humans is explained in detail to control the robot's head. The application built explains how humanoid robots can mimic human movements through the Kinect camera sensor with a three-dimensional depth where the sensor functions to activate and provide results. Analysis of the position of the user's head. The purpose of this paper is controlling the movement of the head robot with Kinect. The Kinect retrieves data from the user's head in detail, to obtain head motions user then translated into the programming language. Head motions data is essential for output data to control motor motions in the head mannequin. Communication data were wirelessly coordinating with the microcontroller. The results have shown our system can detect head motion 180 degrees left to right and robot's head motion with error percentage maximum of 3%.
