Simulation of Doppler Polarimetric Spectra for Enhanced Hydrometeor Model

The development of modern meteorological radars is connected with operation and processing of the range of characteristics that involve Doppler and Polarimetric measurements mostly. The known approaches and algorithms to wind related phenomena detection and estimate with radar polarimetry meet the restriction that is connected with data averaging. This fact requires applications of real time measurement and processing as well as development of a model that takes into account the peculiarities of highly dynamic and changeable medium of atmosphere. In this paper the Doppler co-polarized and cross-polarized spectra for enhanced model are studied and analyzed. The enhanced model considers the introduced parameters of wetness that represents the melting stage of hydrometeor and iceness. The simulation is done for fixed parameter of wetness, different EDR values, and different elevation angles.
