Structural Dynamics Simulation and Engineering Application Analysis of 550kV GIL

GIL is a gas-insulated power device with high voltage level, large transmission capacity and long transmission distance. GIL can be co-constructed with telecom cables, oil and gas pipelines and other equipment. It will have significant optimization significance for the future construction of national energy transmission channels and urban infrastructure layout. Increase of voltage level and transmission capacity have resulted in a higher design parameters level and a larger structural size.The 550kV GIL has a large structure size and high carrying current parameters. These brings problems of transportation vibration and seismic performance and electrodynamic load performance, which must be studied in engineering applications.In this paper, modal analysis, power spectral density analysis, response spectrum analysis and transient analysis are combined with engineering practice to analyze the structural dynamics of 550kV GIL. Structural response characteristics under transport load and seismic load conditions are analyzed. The response characteristics of GIL under rated current and short-circuit load are studied. The similarities and differences of the influence of AC component maximum value Im and DC component attenuation coefficient α of short-circuit current are analyzed.
