Stochastic Planning Model for Incremental Distributio Network Considering CVaR and Wind Power Penetration

Renewable energy penetration and load increments exacerbate the uncertainty of power generation dispatch for distribution network systems. Different from the medium- and long-term incremental load planning, this paper defines the load increment in the short-term, and introduces the conditional risk value (CVaR) to help the distribution system operator (DSO) to balance the condition risk and the power generation dispatch cost in the power generation dispatch for the lowest total cost. Among them, power generation dispatch considers both the day-ahead stage and the real-time stage. The DSO determines the power generation output of the micro gas turbine (MT), the up and down spinning reserve, and the wind power output. The DSO achieves system balance by adjusting the spinning reserve, reducing the wind power output and shedding the load in the real-time stage. Finally, the feasibility of the model are verified by the example of IEEE 33 node system, and some suggestions for DSO on power generation dispatch are provided.
