Fractional Nonlinear Synergetic Control for Three Phase Inverter Tied to PV System

This paper proposes a current control strategy for three phase voltage source inverter grid connected Photovoltaic (PV) system. The main objective of the proposed controller is to inject the sinusoidal currents to the grid with lower total harmonic distortion THD percentage even with the environmental changes which affect the PV array output power. The validation of the proposed controller has been done using the Matlab/Simulink environment, also a comparison with integer nonlinear synergetic control (NSC), sliding mode control (SMC) and proportional (PI) control is done to show the outperformance of the proposed controller by presenting lower THD compared to the other controllers.
