Equations of Quasi–stationary Modes and Frequency–response Characteristics of Multimachine Electric Power System

The generalized approach for power system assessment based on modeling of electromechanical transients through reduced Park equations is presented.Equations for quasi-stationary modes technique (EQSM), valid for either synchronous or asynchronous conditions, has been extended for multi-machine systems. To proceed effectively with problem assessment, including stability issues, the detailed knowledge of system frequency-response characteristics data is urgently needed. Nevertheless, this frequency related impact is of minor influence for the regulated systems, provided by the speed controllers of the machines.
