Sum Rate Analysis under LoS and NLoS Conditions for a Distributed Indoor Massive MIMO System

Massive MIMO an upcoming technology that deals with hundreds to thousands of antennas at the base station supports devices to a greater extent. In massive MIMO system, degrees of freedom tends to be very high that provides high reliability between transmit and receive antennas. For a reliable transmission, a favorable propagation condition is rather needed to be identified. Based on the distance based signal power (DBSP-SR) the uplink channels at the base stations are estimated for sum rate analysis under direct line of sight and Non line of sight conditions. Simulation results shows the performance analysis of sum rate at line of sight are considered to be high and sum rate analysis at Non line of sight conditions are considered to be low.
