Increase of Solar Power Plant Work Efficiency

The article deals with the issues related to increase the efficiency of solar power plants. It is shown that for the most complete use of the solar energy, it is necessary to rotate the solar panels after the sun during the daylight hours. This rotation can be done both continuously and discretely, or in some steps. The main characteristics of each of these methods of solar panels rotating are given. Having two possible options for the implementation of the rotation of solar panels, the authors select a discrete in which the operation of an electric drive ensuring the rotation of these batteries is performed discretely. This method allows reducing electricity consumption by an electric drive, which ensures the rotation of solar panels. In this case, if the step size of the rotation of these batteries is relatively small, there will not be a noticeable decrease in the illumination of the solar cells and the power generation will decrease by a small value. The calculated data confirming a slight decrease in the illumination of the solar panels with relatively small values of steps are given.
