Monitoring of the intensity of the electromagnetic field during the aircraft operation in the field of high frequencies

Devices and installations used in radiocommunication are currently the most numerous sources of electromagnetic field - especially in the field of high frequencies. The paper presents the results of the electric field intensity test obtained with the use of the ESM140 device during a Cessna C152 flight from the airport in Depułtycze Królewskie located 6 km from Chełm. The results showed the level of electromagnetic fields during aircraft operation. The measurement did not reveal any exceedances of the permissible level of the electromagnetic field for high frequencies. The maximum value registered by the dosimeter is E=5.53V/m for GSM 1800 frequencies.
