Human-in-the-Loop Ekranoplane Motion Control System Design

The problem of synthesizing the motion control system of the aircraft in the area of the ground effect and the complex processing of the readings of sensors, which allows the pilot to carry out interactive control without taking the system out of the safe maneuvering area around the balancing modes, taking into account the structural and parametric uncertainty of the model, is considered. The system of self-diagnostics of controls and identification of dynamic parameters of a ground effect vehicle as part of a control system determines critical changes in parameters, initiating reconfiguration of control system parameters and a change in the current flight mode, up to an emergency landing. The features of the construction of the dynamics model and the calculation of aerodynamic forces and torques based on the results of the testing in Virtual Wind Tunnel using CFD COMSOL Multiphysics, are noted.
