Study of Dependence of Nonlinear Acoustic Parameter in Transformer Oil on Medium Temperature

The paper studies acoustic characteristics of the transformer oil at the temperatures close to real ones during normal operation of high-voltage oil-filled equipment. It considers and determines such acoustic characteristic as a nonlinear acoustic parameter. The dependence of the nonlinear acoustic parameter in the transformer oil on the medium temperature is shown on the basis of theoretical and experimental studies. We made the dependences of the change in the speed of the ultrasound propagation in the transformer oil on its temperature, which can be used in experimental and computational problems of more accurate parameters of the sound speed in the insulating fluid of oil-filled high-voltage equipment.
