Genetic Algorithm for Optimization Placement of Antennas on Aircraft

Genetic algorithm application for determining the optimal antennas placement on an aerial vehicle surface is considered. The main criterion for antennas optimal location search is the minimization of the influence index between radio transmitter and radio receiver. The technique for influence index calculating, based on pair assessment is proposed. Study on the effectiveness of the genetic algorithm application for the search for the optimal antennas location on an aerial vehicle surface is discussed. A genetic algorithm is developed for antennas placement on the aircraft fuselage surface. An algorithm was implemented in the form of computer program, taking into account the criterion characterizing the influence index between radio transmitters and radio receivers.
