Linking of Comparison Measurement Data based on Monte Carlo Method

A numerical simulation method is presented, which can be directly used to link the results of an RMO (Regional Metrology organization) comparison with the corresponding CIPM (International Committee of Weights and Measures) key comparisons. Combining the linked reference value calculation with Monte Carlo simulation, this method gives out the degrees of equivalence required by the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA). One is the degree of equivalence for each laboratory relative to the key comparison reference value (KCRV) and the other one is the degree of equivalence between pairs of participating laboratories. An analysis of the linked comparisons APMP.M.M-K5 and CCM.M-K5 is given to illustrate this method, which can be applied to the majority of comparisons.
