A Trajectory Re-planning Method for Multi-stage Rockets Based on Decision Classification

The next generation launch vehicle should have capability of autonomous trajectory re-planning. Re-planning includes two parts: mission decision and trajectory planning. According to characteristics of a mission, decision classification under different conditions is determined. An adaptive pseudo-spectral method is used to map out a flight trajectory that meets requirements. The decision is updated by improving constraints, and a high-precision optimization solution is obtained. The simulation results show that when a flight deviation occurs, this method can complete re-planning mission rapidly and achieve a certain degree of recovery for abnormal flight states.
