Design of Low Transconductance OTA and its Application in Active Filter Design

Low power and low transconductance transconductor is required for biomedical application. Very low transconductance can be achieved by using OTA. In this paper a low transconductance high gain OTA is designed based on series parallel gate driven technique. The designed OTA is implemented using Cadence Virtuoso Tool in gpdk 180 nm CMOS technology. The proposed OTA is then used to implement active filter design using bi-quad Gm-C structure.
