An API Development Model for Digital Twins

Digital twins are software implementations of their physical counterparts. These software representations act through application program interfaces (APIs) to the physical devices they monitor, engage with and possibly control. Here a development model is proposed to ensure the desired reliability and performance of the API which is critical to the overall success of the Digital Twin.
