An Explorative Study on Online and Offline Interpersonal Relationship

The rapid development of Internet and the popularity of social networking sites cause a large number of lifestyle. This study is to understand the difference between online and offline interpersonal. We use dual relationship quality-oriented architecture to explore the behavior and interpersonal interactions on the web and reality. The purpose is to identify the differences between online and offline relationships and understand online network density of human interaction. Data analysis used SmartPLS 2.0, UCINET VI social network analysis software, and SPSS statistical software through the survey. Values did not affect social identity and communication, possibly because people engaging in online interpersonal relationships and offline interpersonal relationships have different values; as a result, the difference did not influence the social identity and communication method from person to person.
