Spectroscopic Properties of Nd3+ Random Lasers

This work presents a comparative study among the spectroscopic properties of various near infrared random lasers based on stoichiometric Nd crystal powders. A comparative study of the random lasing performance of several Nd based stoichiometric compounds, together with a discussion about the fundamental parameters which control the random laser operation are presented.
