Application Centric Cloud-Based Notification System Using Scrum Methodology

The aim of this paper concerns that there should be an online system which provides parents ease in calculating and managing the budget of the student throughout their studies in school. In order to check status alerts, the student uses login for social platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc. The specific focus is to provide comfort to student/guardian in checking their academic fees, keeping track of other non-curricular activities, to remind student/guardian about the fees and its due dates, and ability to customized notifications. System testing can be based on various usability features. Application-centric approach is helpful to focus on the system or application as our initial point. For this system, we developed a Java-based web service and mobile application. During the implementation of a system, we go through the several phases of scrum methodology: creating product backlog, forming theory background, creating an environment to develop an application, designing a model of an application, deployment of the system and performing testing.
