A Compact THz Quasi TDS System for Mobile Scenarios

In this paper, a compact and affordable approach for terahertz spectroscopy is proposed. A quasi time-domain spectroscope, based on a multimode laser diode, is combined with a data acquisition setup consisting of an Arduino microcontroller platform and a Raspberry Pi single-board computer. The measurement results are verified with common laboratory equipment. A bandwith of more than 1 THz was achieved.
