Comparison of Five Schemes Used for Reactive Power Compensation

The article is devoted to the study of five reactive power compensator circuits. The schemes based on the reactive voltage inverter and three different AC voltage regulator circuits are presented. Simulation, calculation of the grid current quality by the direct method, a comparative assessment of the component elements' cost for the considered circuits are suggested.
