Abstract:
The transport properties of mesoscopic InAs nanowire and InAs/Al core/shell nanowire Josephson junctions are investigated. By using a normal conducting shunt resistor parallel to the junction, it is possible to extract the real supercurrent of the device due to the suppression of phase fluctuations. Additionally, we present both Shapiro and emission measurements for InAs and InAs/Al nanowires with different Te-doping levels. The occurrence of Shapiro steps at fractional voltage values indicate a strongly non-sinusoidal current phase-relation due to a high transparency of the semiconductor/superconductor interface,
